Price disclaimer

Last updated October 29, 2026

Trigger (triggersetgo.com) shows flight and hotel prices to help you decide when to book. This page explains where those prices come from and why the price on the booking site can be different. In short: the booking site always shows the live price, and that is the price that applies.

1. Where our prices come from

Trigger uses official data partners only:

  • Flights: the Travelpayouts network, through Aviasales.
  • Hotels: the Travelpayouts network, through Hotellook.
  • Live confirmation: for some alert hits, Google travel results through SerpApi.

Trigger does not scrape airline, hotel or travel websites.

2. Prices are recently seen, not live

Many partner prices are cached. A cached price is a price that was recently seen and stored by the data partner. It can be a few hours to around two days old. During that time, prices and availability may have changed.

3. The booking site shows the live price

When you follow a link from Trigger, the booking site checks the current price and availability. That live price can be higher or lower than the price shown on Trigger or in an alert email. The price, terms and availability shown on the booking site are the ones that apply to your booking.

4. No guarantee of price or availability

Trigger cannot guarantee that:

  • any price shown is still available;
  • any flight, seat, room or rate is still available;
  • the information from our partners is complete or error-free;
  • every airline, hotel or booking site is included.

Low fares and rates are often limited and can sell out quickly.

5. What a price may or may not include

Depending on the partner and the offer, a price may not include all of the following, or may include them differently:

  • baggage allowance and seat selection;
  • taxes, local fees, resort fees or city taxes;
  • payment or booking fees;
  • meals or breakfast;
  • conditions for changes and cancellation.

Always check the full price, fare or rate conditions and the cancellation policy on the booking site before you pay.

6. Currency

Prices may be shown in the currency you choose on Trigger. Where a price is converted, the amount you are charged can differ because of exchange rates, the booking site's own conversion or fees from your card provider.

7. Trigger does not sell travel

Trigger never sells travel and never takes payment. Bookings are made on partner sites, and your contract is with that site or with the airline or hotel. Questions about a booking, payment, change or refund should go to the site you booked with.

Some outbound links are affiliate links. A partner may pay Trigger a commission if you book. This does not change your price and never changes which offers are shown or their order, which is by price. See how Trigger stays free.

9. Alert timing

Trigger re-checks prices on a schedule that depends on how close the travel date is and how near the price is to your target. Prices can change between checks, and emails can be delayed. An alert may miss a price that appeared and disappeared between checks. More detail is on how it works and in cached vs live travel prices.
