How Trigger works

Trigger is a price-watching service for flights and hotels. You tell us what you want and what you want to pay. We do the checking.

  1. Search

Pick your route and dates, or the city and nights for your hotel, with the details that matter to you.

  2. Set a target

Tell Trigger the most you want to pay. We show you today's price and recent history so you can choose wisely.

  3. Get the email

We re-check prices around the clock. When your trip hits your price, we email you immediately with a trusted booking link.

Where prices come from

We use official data from travel partners, such as Aviasales and Hotellook through the Travelpayouts network, and Google travel results. Some sources report the latest prices travellers have seen in the last hours, so the booking site always shows the live price before you pay.

How often we check

We check more often as your trip gets closer: about twice a day for trips months away, every few hours in the last two weeks, and hourly in the final days. Identical searches from different people are checked once, which keeps the service fast and free.

When we email you

As soon as a check finds your trip at or below your target price, we email you a link to the deal. After that we only write again if the price falls at least 5% further, and never more than once a day per trigger.

How Trigger stays free

Some booking links are affiliate links. If you book, the travel site may pay us a small commission. You pay exactly the same price, and it never affects which deals we show.
